From a quality of construction standpoint, these are quite nice. I don't notice any visible distortion when wearing them and they appear well made. Unfortunately, they do not block much UVA light even thought the description claims "100% LED/UV Protection". I determined this by shining a 395nm UVA flashlight through both these glasses and a pair of "Uvex S0360X Ultra-spec 2000 Safety" glasses onto a piece of paper that fluoresces blue under UVA. As you can see in the attached picture, the Uvex glasses on the right cast a dark shadow on the paper indicating that a large amount of the UV light was absorbed by the glasses. The glasses being reviewed are on the left and block much less of the light so their shadow on the paper isn't very dark. The down side of the Uvex glasses is that they cost twice as much on Amazon and, as can also be seen in the picture, they actually fluoresce orange under UV light which will reduce the contrast of your view if you're working in an environment where a lot of UV is hitting your glasses as well as what you're working on. On the other hand, wearing glasses that don't block UV while working with UV may eventually lead to cataracts that will cloud your view of everything permanently... I would not recommend these for UV protection but would recommend them if you're just looking for a pair of amber/red glasses to block some of the blue spectrum. Perhaps they would be good to wear at night before going to sleep since blue light at night is said to disrupt ones circadian rhythm and cause sleep problems.
