Description
A Game Changer for Leftover Wine Until now, attempting to keep wine fresh has been nothing but expensive, complex, and frustratingly ineffective.  Repour finally makes the problem go away , simply and effectively. Oxygen has always been the culprit in wine going bad. The "magic" of Repour is in the way it aborbs oxygen from the air above the wine, and from the wine itself.  It does such a good job of continously and actively absorbing all of the oxygen in the wine (to less than 0.03ppm, that's pretty much ALL!) that it STOPS the wine degradation.  Once that happens, your wine stays fresh, for as long as you enjoy it.  It's that simple. Other products do not remove all of the oxygen, and as a result, they cannot stop the degradation process.  They may delay it for a few days, but they just can't stop it.  Repour can and does.   Tom Lutz, Ph.D., Inventor and Founder of Repour Tom is a Chemist who understood that oxygen is the "frenemy" of wine.  On one hand, the presence of oxygen is a critical factor in fermentation and turning grapes into wine.  However, when we return later to a previously opened bottle of wine, we encounter oxygen's dark side:  The continued long-term exposure of wine to oxygen deteriorates the wine, producing that disappointing wine-gone-bad taste, the effects of oxidation at work. One day, after throwing yet another 1/2 bottle of wine down the drain, Tom knew there must be a better way.  The result is Repour. It’s taken a great deal of effort in development, testing, and refinement, but the clear test results are in: Repour is the most effective, and easiest, wine preservation method available.  So about that complicated relationship with oxygen in the wine?  As with any good relationship, it just needs to be managed...   Smart on the Inside, Simple on the Outside Repour may have been designed by a very smart scientist, but fortunately, the rest of us don't need to understand Henry's Law to experience the happy effects of Repour.  Just remove the seal, and push Repour into the neck of the bottle in place of the cork.  Repour gets immediately to work.  When you're ready for more wine?  Uncork, pour, re-stop with Repour, and enjoy your wine again.  Repeat as needed. It's that simple. Repour works so well, your wine may need to "open up" again when you return to enjoy another glass. Keep Repour in the bottle when not pouring wine (so it stays focused on absorbing oxygen from the wine and not from the air in your room). Do not store your wine bottle on its side when it is stopped with Repour Stick to one stopper per bottle.  When opening a new bottle, start with a new Repour stopper.   No extra parts, no batteries, no complexities.  Any non-scientist can handle that.  Repour Works. We Promise. Does it really work? Tom is a scientist, so he's all about testing.   Prior to launching to the market, Tom had hundreds of individual consumers, sommeliers, and other wine experts put Repour through the paces, successfully.  Just to be safe, Repour was then tested by an independent 3rd party lab, which validated our product claims. Repour is ready to work for you.  We promise. A New Level of Wine Freedom.  How would you "wine" differently if you knew your wine would never go bad? We know, it's a big paradigm shift.  Here's how we do it: Offer more variety to guests.  5 opened varieties?  No problem! Open a new bottle just for one glass?  Yes! Open that second bottle when we're winding down the night?  Yes! Offer a previously opened bottle to a new guest?  Yes!  We promise it'll be as good as when the bottle was first opened.  Do it! Splurge on a really great bottle just for myself?  Definitely.  You can savor it as long as you want. Calling all Bars, Restaurants, and Tasting Rooms!   Tired of pouring hundreds of dollars of wine down the drain each week (or even night)?  Stop the madness, we're here to help. With Repour, you can offer more variety to your guests while reducing your expense .  At less than $1.00 per stopper when bought in bulk, you will love the ROI of Repour.  And the happy customers. We say Cheers to that!

This is the best thing ever. A bottle lasted me a whole week with Repour.Great product. We use these in our restaurant to keep our by the glass wine fresh.Seller fixed an issue with the shipment right away. Very much appreciated.I purchase 12 of these stoppers. My opinion is that it is a good product, however it is not 100%. My choice of wine is reds. My husband drinks white. I have tried it the stoppers on 6 bottles of red since my purchase. On the first try there was a slight taste difference between day 1 and day 2 of storage. Same with bottle 2. To test further, on the 3 try I opened 2 bottles of the same vintage, both from the same case. Both bottles tasted identical. After a few days there again was a slight difference from freshly opened taste, again both tasting identical. Next try I opened 1 bottle and let it sit for 2 days, again from the same case. I then opened a 2nd bottle and did another side by side taste test. Yes, there was a slight difference between the 2 bottles. The 3 days old wine was not quite as smooth as the freshly opened bottle. In conclusion, yes I will reorder this item as I believe it is better than the suction (I have both electric and manual types and like them less than this product). I am leaving on a cruise next week and will take few stoppers with me to use on the ship atdinner. In the past while cruising I have ordered full bottles and shared them with others at our table as I do not like the taste of red that is just corked after it sits overnight. This time I am hopeful waiter will store the opened wine from day to day until I finish the bottle.....if the cruise line will allow this.I don’t drink a lot so finishing off a bottle in one sitting is rare and preserving for another time with this has been great. Months later, the flavor was still good. Second time purchasing. Brought one with a gift bottle to a party which was appreciated.I like wine but I hesitate to open a bottle because depending on how life goes that week I may not drink it fast enough before it starts to turn. these things work wonderfully to preserve the wine longer. you can clearly tell it's working to consume the oxygen when you pull it and it pops.It could work for longer, but it all depends on the kind of wine you are trying to preserve. Some wines have a lot of natural (or not natural, sulfur, but that's ok too) stuffing in them to withstand some oxygen. But at the end of the day as a wine professional and WSET Diploma grad I use these a lot if I know I am going to only access the bottle twice.I initially gave this product a one star review because I felt it imparted a chemical smell and taste to my wine by the third day. The producers contacted me feeling I had been mistaken because they have so many positive reviews. So I said I would try it again on another everyday wine so as not to take the chance with a nice bottle. I did try it on another wine and it's been 7 days and the wine has held up great. So I don't know the difference between my first experience and the second. I suppose it's possible that I didn't out the bottle stopper in far enough or the wine was simply bad. Anyway, worked great this time. I'm only giving 4 instead of 5 because of my first experience and because these stoppers are disposable and other protective measures aren't. But it did what it said it does so I'm happy enough!I have tried many methods and Repour is still the best. I have used it daily for many months. By comparison, my experience is that the taste of an opened refrigerated bottle (medium body newer red) deteriorates per day is: 30% (regular stopper), 20% (vacuumed or injected gas stopper), and 10% (Repour), with the deterioration rate accelerating each day. Of course, the deterioration rate is faster for older wine (10+ year), lighter red, and white in increasing order. So, I have completely switched over to Repour. I have not tried it on very old (20+ year) or very expensive ($100+ wine). If I open one of those, I make sure that it will be finished in one day. These can only be used for one bottle and are then to be thrown away. This makes them too expensive for normal use, so I won't be reordering. Like the other reviewer, I should have read the details! This is a miracle product. Imagine having a glass of your $400 burgundy today; then using Repour; then having another glass 14 days later. And this glass may be even more flavorful than the original glass. ir's worth the 3 bucks.Received in timely shipment for a Christmas present. Was not aware that each stopper is only single use/bottle of wine. That’s why they come in multiple packages. I ordered package of 6 stoppers.Otherwise I found it useful as a stopper.I should have read the details. I saw it was disposable but did not realise it was only good for 1 bottle. Too expensive for me I am going to return the box. Pity the details do not say SINGLE USE ONLY. Many things are disposable but have a multi use.
