Very easy to assemble. The wood is cut precisely so all fitted together perfectly. I'm going to buy a couple more.Although there were no instructions, it was quite obvious how to put it together. We used a rubber mallet and it took no time at all. It's very sturdy and stable. Very well designed. We're more than pleased with it. Cheers!Overall this is a nice little rack. It’s sturdy and easy to put together. Some pieces were a little tough to get to fit but a minimal complaint overall. Two key notes: 1) it will hold Pinot bottles on more than the top rack. It’s close, but they fit. 2) the rack itself is level so the bottles only get a slight downward angle because the base is taller then the neck. Not a big deal to me (should be plenty to keep the cork from drying out), but I suppose could be to some.Easy to assemble. Using a rubber mallet makes it easier. Don’t listen to reviews saying this doesn’t fit bottles. The thickest of the thick bottles of 750ml reserve wine fit with plenty of room. Cherry and champagne might be an issue. Great valueThe color ofthe wood is different than the picture Very easy to assembleSo many products are poorly made. I've done my fair share of making things, careful to have good tolerances. These couldn't have been better, tight but not too tight. No play whatsoever. So, I'm impressed, not because it's anything special, but because these days so much is made shoddy, this stands out because it was actually made right! This rack was easy to stain and put together. I bought two!At first glance, the parts don't seem to be robust. However as the easy assembly progresses, the rack gains stiffness. Once wine is added, the rack feels very solid. For the money, its good value. Looks good enough for a living space, but perfect for a miscarriage area. Plus it's expandable.
